Psychodiagnostic/
Psychoeducational Assessments

I offer in-depth assessments for referral questions related to emotional, behavioral, learning, autism spectrum, and attention/executive functioning challenges. These evaluations can provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive, emotional, academic, and behavioral functioning, offering valuable insights that can help guide treatment, identify support, and assist with educational planning.

The Assessment Process

Each evaluation is tailored to address specific referral question(s), needs and goals.

The typical process involves:

1. Intake Session: A discussion to learn about specific reasons for seeking an assessment and acquire developmental, school, social, and emotional/behavioral history. Prior to this appointment, I will have you complete intake paperwork to help guide our discussion.

2. Assessment: This includes interviews, standardized testing, behavioral observations, and possibly input from family members/close friends, teachers, or caregivers. This may occur over 1 or 2 sessions and is typically a total of 4 - 6 hours.

3. Feedback Session: During this meeting I will discuss the results of testing, answer questions, and provide actionable recommendations for treatment, accommodations, or further support.

4. Written Report: A detailed written report will be provided, outlining the assessment findings, diagnosis(es) (if applicable), and all recommendations discussed during the feedback session.
