As a psychologist, I am inspired by knowing that personal growth is shaped by both equifinality—the truth that many different paths can lead to the same outcome—and multifinality—the reminder that similar beginnings may unfold into vastly different futures. Together, these concepts capture the complexity of our development, and promise that within each of us lies the potential for resilience, transformation and unique expression.

Drawing from extensive training and experience with neurodiversity, trauma recovery, and developmental psychology, I strive to create therapeutic experiences that honor your natural ways of processing, learning, and connecting.

Education/Training

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I studied the influence of social determinants and temperament and personality traits on mental health outcomes. My predoctoral internship was completed at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and the Center for Development and Disability. While there, I conducted comprehensive developmental evaluations for children with suspected neurological conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, as part of a multidisciplinary team. I also provided evidence-based therapies to young children and their caregivers as well as adolescent populations in two trauma-focused outpatient clinics. My postdoctoral training was completed at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Children’s Hospital Colorado. As a psychology fellow, I conducted integrated behavioral health services in order to facilitate early identification and treatment of mental and behavioral health issues within pediatric primary care settings and conducted trainings for medical residents on perinatal mental health and traumatic stress.

After completing my formal training, I began my private practice while also working at the Attention, Behavior, and Learning Clinic at the University of Colorado Boulder. At CU, I supervised doctoral students in the assessment of children and adolescents with suspected neurodevelopmental challenges and/or behavioral and emotional concerns. Likewise, I provided supervision in child/adolescent psychotherapy to doctoral students through the Raimy Psychology Clinic.

I currently exclusively work in private practice and am affiliated with the Boulder Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (BCCBT/bouldercbt.com).
